We have known Geoff Davenport for many years, since he worked with his father repairing a car-port at our previous house. A few years after we moved to a smaller house nearby, they assisted us in providing an acceptable plan for a new porch, before undertaking it's construction. Geoff subsequently stripped out an area of decking, designed and laid new paving, and a pergola.
More recently, he improved our design for a paved herb garden (extending from the earlier paving), with a retaining wall, steps on one side and (as requested) a well-judged slope on the other. In all, quite a complex re-modelling of the sloping area. The result has proved a great success.
From other work for friends, we know that his carpentry is also more than competent.
His estimates were always reasonable, and he calmly dealt with any unforeseen problems. His work is of the very best quality, with the notable benefits of excellent design and quality finish.

Geoff has done several different types of job for me over the years.
These include, laying a paving stone pathway, replacing a steel manhole cover, fitting handrails for steps, installing a kitchen door/window lintel with associated brickwork, renewing an air brick, replacing timber garage door uprights etc.
